The Player

 

Norris is a professional basketball player who is currently playing in the Euroleague.  He has played with several teams both domestic and abroad to include Montenegro, Italy, Israel, China, New Orleans, Oklahoma, and Miami.  Norris has won one championship at the International level and two in the NBA.   A Dayton native, Norris graduated from Dunbar High School as the Salutatorian and Cleveland State University with a degree in Health Science.  Norris was an accomplished basketball player, setting career highs and receiving a number of accomplishments while at Cleveland State University where his jersey was retired February 12, 2016.  Upon entering the NBA, he appeared in the NBA finals his first three seasons and captured NBA Championships in his first two.

While basketball is a significant part of Norris’ life, education has always been a priority.  He has a passion for community service and is committed to stressing the importance of education and positive character development among youth.  The Norris Cole Foundation provides Norris an opportunity to give back beyond his notoriety as a professional basketball player.
